Hello and welcome to my classroom! While this is my 5th year teaching at Northglenn High School, I have been working in the field of Special Education for 12 years. I am a Colorado native. I received my bachelors degree in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and my masters in Special Education from Regis University.
In my years of teaching I have to say the best time is when my students leave me to go on to bigger things such as graduation or transition. To be able to watch their faces walking across the stage to receive their diploma, or to hear a student has successfully completed the transition program and is working/volunteering is the best feeling in the world.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my 3 dogs and horse. During the summer I try to fit in as much horseback riding as possible along with participating in my competition truck and tractor pulling.
If you are a parent of a NGHS student and have any questions about the Significant Support Needs program please feel free to contact me.
